This unique camp will feature multiple “small area GAME SITUATION shooting stations. FORWARDS & DEFENSEMEN will focus on offensive
strategies and skills relating to a GOALTENDERS TENDENCIES & HOW TO SCORE in
game simulated LIMITED TIME & SPACE DRILLS. FORWARDS & DEFENSEMEN skills
development emphasis will be on SMALL AREA ESCAPE MOVES; QUICK RELEASES;
ONE-TIMERS; REDIRECTS & tactics designed to“OPEN UP” the goaltender.
GOALTENDERS playing in the GAME SITUATION LIMITED TIME & SPACE DRILLS will be
coached in FORWARDS & DEFENSEMEN TENDENCIES relating to “READING THE RELEASE”
& “FINDING THE SHOT LANE”. Development emphasis on SAVE SELECTION TECHNIQUES;
LATERAL MOVEMENT; REBOUND CONTROL & learning the critical balance of knowing
when to BLOCK and when to REACT will be reinforced through repetition on
each GAME SITUATION shooting station.
